Hi again! I'm Jen.

I build tools nobody asked for—and I'm proud of it.

I didn’t start out in tech. I studied Mass Communication, majored in Advertising, and kicked off my career writing SEO content for clients around the world. But I got burnt out.

What I really loved was proofreading—catching clunky sentences, misplaced commas, or awkward phrasing and making them better. It wasn’t just nitpicking; it was my way of creating clarity. Turns out, that same mindset is exactly what made me fall in love with automation.

Because automation, at its core, is just perfecting workflows instead of words.

That obsession with making things smoother led me to the world of SaaS, where I’ve worked at companies like Zapier and Ashby building tools and systems that support not just customers—but the entire team behind the scenes.

Wins I'm proud of

The tools I’ve built usually start from a simple place: my own frustration. I get curious about what could be better, and then I make it happen.

Here are a few of my favorite wins:

  • A daily digest for async updates so no one in APAC ever wakes up confused again
  • A ticket triage system that helped a bug backlog finally get cleared
  • An AI reply generator that passes QA—and actually sounds like the human using it
  • A team impact tracker that shows in-queue and off-queue work all in one place

None of them were “on the roadmap.” But all of them made work easier for the people using them, and that’s what matters most to me.

How I work

Whether we’re building from scratch or power-upping your existing stack, my process stays grounded, collaborative, and clear.

  1. Let’s grab a virtual coffee. I want to hear what’s been working—and what hasn’t.
  2. Show me your stack. We walk through the tools you use and how you use them, end-to-end.
  3. Find the gaps. I identify opportunities for automation and data cleanup.
  4. Build. I design workflows that make sense for you, not just the software.
  5. Test & refine. We iterate together based on how your team actually works.
  6. Handoff. You’ll get a documentation pack + Loom walkthrough, so nothing gets lost in translation.

My goal is always the same: to make your tools work harder, so you don’t have to.

Who I work best with

The clients I click with most aren’t always “techy.” But they do share these values:

  • Tools are an investment, not a cost. They’re not afraid to pay for the right ones.
  • Customer experience matters. It’s not something to “fix later.”
  • They welcome outside perspectives and treat collaboration as a two-way street.
  • They take action when they see results; no micromanaging needed.
  • They think long-term, not just quick fixes.

If that sounds like you, we’ll get along great.
